PLAN TO RESTORE GUNNERSBURY PARK NOW REVIVED
Funds recently obtained from Highways England and Historic England has meant that the next phase of the project to revive the park can commence with the work expected to begin in 2021-22 and will last several years. This phase includes funds for the small mansion and stables and aims to develop the cultural and artistic facilities at Gunnersbury.
The large mansion houses including Gunnersbury Museum were restored in 2018 during phase one of the 14 year masterplan.
Phase three involves the improvement of the sports facilities at the park with a new multi-million pound sports hub offering regular tennis, football, cricket and gym activities.
This work is being supported by Ealing Council for the benefit of the community in the area.
